The Ceropegia also known as the String of Hearts is definitely an eyecatcher! With it's beautiful leaves that look like hearts this plant can also grow incredibly long.
Common issues with the String of Hearts
Yellowing leaves:
This might be a sign that you are giving too much water to your plants (this usually goes hand in hand with the loss of leaves), we suggest checking the soil before you give your plants water, if the top 5cm is dry it is usually safe to give your PLNTS a drink.
Wilted and deflated leaves:
These plants store their water in the leaves, if you see this issue with your plant it is an indicator of not giving enough water.
The leaves are growing far apart:
The most common cause of long stretches between the leaves is too little light. Place the plant in a spot where it can benefit from at least 4 - 6 hours of indirect sunlight.
